Schools Coordinator
Stacy Murphy has been with the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 for seven years and serves
as the Schools Coordinator for the region. His focus is the dissemination of
detailed guidance on the proven strategies, organizational approaches and
leadership styles that are fundamental to improving school environments.
Mr. Murphy’s experience includes project management, program development,
facilitation, and providing training through EPA's Clean, Green, and Healthy
Schools Initiatives.
Victor Melton, Environmental
and Energy Manager - Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Carrollton, TX
Victor Melton has been the
Environmentalist and Energy Manager at the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD for 12
years. Victor assists the District with asbestos, IAQ and IPM,
saving energy and waste and recycling. He served on the steering committee
of both the Texas Energy Managers Association (TEMA) and the Texas Integrated
Pest Management Affiliate for Public Schools (TIPMAPS). The
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD has been awarded the EPA Indoor Air Quality
Tools for Schools Excellence Award (2010) and the IPM Pride Award in 2009.
