New EPA Total Release Fogger Videos Encourage Safe Use Practices

These new videos were developed to educate the public about the potential hazards associated with the incorrect use of total release foggers in the home and to encourage users to read label directions and take safety precautions when using foggers. The videos may also be used as a complimentary piece to power point presentations, training sessions, educational presentations, or public awareness and outreach campaigns.

EPA's key message is the most effective way to reduce or eliminate pest problems and risks posed by pesticides is to first prevent pests from entering the home by removing sources of food and water, and destroying pest shelters and breeding sites. However, if a total release fogger is used to control pests, it is important to always read and follow the safety precautions on the label.
