Questions and Answers
We are delighted that you will be able to join us for this month's EPA/NIEHS Children's Centers webinar. Since there will be many participants, and in an effort to make sure the webinars are efficient and successful for everyone, we ask that you please follow the instructions below.
1. Please join the webinar promptly at 1:00 p.m. EDT.
2. If this is your first time attending a WebEx webinar then you may need to sign on to WebEx 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start of the webinar to verify that you have installed the necessary plug-in to your browser and have a "rich media player" which is needed to participate in the webinar.
3. Please call in using a land line and avoid cell phones as they may introduce background noise.
4. Muting of phones - While all lines will be centrally muted to reduce background noise, please also use the mute button on your phone to avoid background noise which can make it difficult for other participants to hear. If your phone does not have a mute button, it can be muted using the participants list on WebEx. Please note that muting using the WebEx participants list should only be necessary if you have accidentally clicked on your name in the WebEx participants box which will un-mute your phone.
5. Speakerphone: If you are unable to mute your line manually, please do not use a speakerphone.
6. Hold: Do not put the conference call on hold if background music plays when calls are placed on hold.
Note: If this is your first time attending a Webex webinar then you may need to sign on to Webex 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start and verify that you have the Rich Media Players needed to participate in the webinar.
