Webinar School Laboratory Exposures - Connection Information

The Interstate Chemical Threats Workshop (ICTW) group will conclude their series on effective policies to reduce chemical exposures in schools, by learning about strategies to keep students and staff out of harm’s way in science labs. Maureen Orr will provide ATSDR surveillance data on science class chemical incidents. Dwight Peavey will share his experience with an integrated chemical management program that lead to the clean out hundreds of pounds of toxic chemicals from schools throughout New England. Shelley Duteaux will discuss chemical laboratory safety and the work she has participated in with the California Department of Education.
